Resize the Search Logo!

Friday, November 26th, 2010

Welcome back to new feature Friday! This weeks feature gives you the ability to shrink or enlarge your search engine logos! So if you don’t want to completely hide the Google logo, but want to take it down in size, now you can! Want it to pop out a little more? Simply use the drag bar found under the ‘Search’ tab to re-size and enlarge the logo! This works with each and every search engine logo such as Google, Yahoo and YouTube and all the others! Just another new feature we’re happy to provide you with! Check back next Friday for another new feature.

Rotate Your Text!

Friday, November 19th, 2010

Such a simple yet another cool customizing feature! When you add text to your skin you can now rotate it any way you’d like, just like how you can rotate your images! All you have to do is add your text, hover over it and grab the bottom left corner. Rotate the text to your likings, add a link and/or change up the colors, click update and you’re set! Note that if your text has many characters in it, you may have to expand the text box by dragging the bottom right corner outwards.

So that’s 4 weeks straight with a brand new feature and we’re not stopping there! Let’s start calling it “Feature Friday” since we plan on releasing a brand new feature… every Friday! Hope you like the latest rotating text feature!

Frame Your Pictures!

Friday, November 12th, 2010

The title says it all! Our newest feature allows you to frame any image you add to your StartSkin! Add a cool polaroid frame, or a cute flowery one, the choice is yours! Simply navigate to the ‘Images’ tab in the skin builder, upload an image, and check ‘Frame it’. From here you can select the frame you want for the image.

Have tons of pictures uploaded already? You can frame any of your existing pictures simply by clicking on the picture you want to frame (while the skin builder is open), and checking off the ‘Image Frame’ box (found under the ‘Customize the image’ heading). This will open the window where you can choose the frame for the image.

The frame selection is currently limited, but many new frames will continue being added.
