With over 50,000 skins available, add more skins to your gallery! You can add as many premade skins to your favorites. Don’t forget to try out the Rotate Skins feature found in the My Skins box. Check off as many skins as you want and on each refresh your skin will change up! Really fun feature to have if you have a large gallery of skins!

Well the holidays came quickly and it’s time to decorate your StartSkin with some seasonal & holiday effects! Go into your Skin Builder and click on the Widgets tab. In there, along with all of the social network widgets you will find the Snow Icon and Christmas Lights Icon! Click the Christmas Lights and let there be light amongst your StartSkin! Colorful blinking lights will be added to the side of your homepage! Fun thing about it is they glow, flash and when you put your mouse over them, they break (Don’t worry though, they will be replaced on refresh!). As for the seasonal effects, it may still be Fall but Winter is soon approaching! Click on the snow icon and let the snow fall from the top of your homepage! Enjoy these fun effects!

We want to make customizing your homepage the easiest as possible as well as managing your account and privacy settings! We have combined all of the settings into one, privacy and search settings making it easier to modify your settings all at once. You can now find the newly rebuilt settings at the bottom right of your skin!

Stay updated with top news, sports, entertainment or anything at all with the new RSS Feed Widget! Simply find a RSS feed url, plug it into the widget and receive the feed directly on your StartSkin! How do I get this? Go into the Skin Builder, click the Widgets tab and click on the RSS Feed icon. It will add the widget to your skin. It will have default feeds for StartSkins updates along with Google’s Top News, Sports and Health feeds! How do I add a new feed? Click on the Add Feed link at the bottom of the widget! Yes, it’s that easy! You can even customize the theme of the widget by clicking the colorful circle at the top right, as well as minimize/maximize the widget!

More updates: The Twitter widget has been updated! You can now click your followers usernames and receive their personal tweets directly on the widget. We also updated the Widgets tab area. If you don’t have one of the widgets, the widget icon will be grey. To enable the widget, click the icon and it will appear in color. Do the same to disable that widget!
Such a small but advanced and useful widget! The calender widget comes fully equipped with the option to:
-View the monthly dates (obviously)!
-View past and future dates (the years ahead)!
-Customize the whole calender interface with cool themes!
-Add events to any day you want!
It also has a pretty sleek feel to it!
Now there is no excuse for missing an event, just setup your calender!

If you haven’t already noticed, we spiced up the StartSkins appearance a bit!
Along with this release we also released a new customizing feature where you can add color to the top and bottom bars, along with some transparency! You can find this in the Background tab at the bottom!

The title says it all! Add music to your homepage with our all new Music Player Widget! Add as many songs as you want to your new music player directly on your homepage.
So to run you through a few simple steps on getting your music player, go into the Skin Builder and click the Widgets tab. Along with the Facebook, Twitter and the other widgets you will now see the Music Player Widget. Check it off and it will add itself to your skin.
To add music, click the Add Music button. Use the field to search and click the green Add text to add that song to your playlist. You can also go to YouTube directly and grab the URL of the song and paste it in the field below the search and click Add.
To view your playlist click My Music. This also will minimize/maximize the widget so it can save up some space for all your other cool stuff on your StartSkin!

Update 8/5: You can now ‘Reply’ back to your @mentions! Not only that but you can also now minimize & maximize the widget, make it more convenient in size for your homepage!
All the features you need in one small widget! Read the live timeline of tweets, your friends tweets, your inbox messages and even the trending topics worldwide!
This widget can be found in the same section as the Facebook, Weather, Post It Notes and the rest of the widgets section of the Skin Builder!

Yes, you read right! You’re probably asking yourself ‘How am I going to watch TV and movies from a homepage?’ Easy answer. Through our latest widget! A simple click and enable in the widgets tab will give you our all new Hulu Widget! This Hulu Widget offers clips, previews, full movies and television shows, all directly on your homepage!
Once you find what you want to watch, click on it and a larger screen will appear on your skin and then it’s time to click play!

Update your status, run through the live newsfeed, check your notifications along with your mail! All in one widget on your homepage!
How do I get this widget? It’s just how you get your other widgets such as the Post It Notes and Weather Widgets! Click the ‘Customize Page’ link, go into your Skin Builder and click on the Widgets tab. Check off the Facebook Widget and it will instantly appear. This widget is safe and easy to use, simply log in to your Facebook and start Facebooking without opening a new window!
